Guardwel FPC is the first Indian cabinet to obtain the BIS license for FR 120 with a 120-minute fire resistance rating. The cabinet is designed to protect paper documents and records such as ledgers, insurance policies, agreements, and contracts, which are crucial for modern commerce. The cabinet's double-wall construction, specially formulated fire-resistant compound, and optimized sheet metal thickness minimize heat conduction. Vital areas of the FPC are heavily reinforced to withstand impact. The door is secured to the body by eight shooting bolts, and the bolt movement is locked by a Guardwel 6 lever dual control key lock with stainless steel keys. Additionally, the cabinet can be customized upon request with built-in locker units, mechanical or electronic combination locks, and other features. RIGOROUS TESTS PASSED AT BIS ACCREDITED TEST HOUSES • Fire endurance test for 120 minutes at 1049⁰C for FR 120 and 60 minutes at 945⁰C for FR 60. • Fire and Impact test for 45 minutes for FR 120 and 30 minutes for FR 60. RIGOROUS IN-HOUSE TESTING ·Salt spray Corrosion test. ·Cross hatch test conducted for paint adhesion. AVAILABILITY Available in 120 minutes Fire Resistance and also 60 minutes Fire Resistance.
